This should mean that sometime in 2016, Rockingham should have NBN of some description. This includes Rockingham from the foreshore all the way down to pretty much the Warnbro border (Safety Bay Rd). NBN vans/trucks, unusual contractors working in telecommunication pits? Thanks to everyone who has helped out by either sending their own photos over to include here, or who have helped identify some of the vehicles shown in the photos.Vehicles that I've not been able to identify usually end up on the Mystery Cars photo page, until they are identified. We aren't included in any of the other rollouts so far, and some of the last posts regarding our rollout were 18 months ago... She's in a DSL blackspot and can't get fixed line broadband, so the NBN was massively anticipated. The original plan had fibre work to begin in feb of this year, but since Malcolm's 'faster, sooner, cheaper' MTM mess has taken over, well..there's been no new work and no word on when to expect work. Like I said, the exchange was ADSL enabled back in 2000 but their copper/distance meant they couldn't get anything.I've also seen pit crew working cleaning, roping and rodding in Waikiki, but only in one street. NBN contractors were pulling cable on Read st (opposite Hungry Jacks) just before Christmas.

My house is located 3 or so houses from a Greenfields installation in the Harrington Waters/Waikiki area.

The vintage transport photos in this section of the site are now spread over 18 pages.

Most are black & white or sepia, with just a few being early colour shots.

In an attempt to make some kind of sense of them all, I've listed them on this one page, in alphabetical order.

Some pages feature several different photographs of a vehicle type, whereas in other instances, a variety of photos showing one particular type of car might appear in more than one page.

Have not seen any nbn workers around the place either, fingers crossed they'll get us covered soon, even after they start work it will be a year before we can actually connect as far as i am aware?
